George joined AlpInvest Partners in 2001 from the Firm's predecessor, Parnib, where he was responsible for deal execution with a focus on Benelux mid-market buy-out transactions. Prior to that, he was based in Singapore for four years as a senior manager in asset finance for NIB Capital responsible for the ship and aircraft finance activities in Asia. At AlpInvest Partners, George played an integral role in the design and implementation of the co-investment program and has been responsible for the origination and execution of co-investment transactions in Europe since inception. He has more than ten years of private equity related investment experience, primarily in buyouts.

George received an MA in business economics with a specialization in finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
