Roberto is a Managing Director in AlpInvest Partners’ Co-Investment team and focuses on equity transactions in Europe. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2013 from Advent International, where he was a Director responsible for executing and managing private equity deals on the Italian and European market. Prior to Advent, he worked at McKinsey as an Engagement manager and at Philips Research. Roberto received an MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Palermo, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Roberto Torrini

Wendy Zhu
Wendy is a Managing Director and responsible for primary and secondary investments in the Asia pacific region. She is also a member of the Operating Committee. She joined AlpInvest Partners in 2007 from Macquarie Funds Management, where she was Senior Vice President of Asia-Pacific regional private equity fund investments and co-investments. Previously, Wendy was a Director with Deutsche Bank Asset Management and an Associate Director at MetLife. Wendy received a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a CFA Charterholder. She represents AlpInvest Partners on various Advisory Boards.

Reston Blumwest
Reston is a Principal in the Investment Solutions team, where she is responsible for developing new clients and investor relations in North America. She joined AlpInvest Partners in 2015 from Apollo Global Management, where she was a member of the Relationship Management and Business Development Team from 2007 till 2014. She is a CFA Charter holder. Reston currently holds Series 7 and 63 licenses. Reston received a B.A. in Economics and English Language & Literature from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, USA.

John Borys
John is a Principal in the Investment Solutions team responsible for managing and developing investor relationships in the Americas. Prior to joining the Investment Solutions team, John worked as an investment professional on AlpInvest’s Co-Investment team focused on both private equity and mezzanine transactions globally. John joined AlpInvest in 2011 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked in the Investment Banking Division focused on M&A and capital raising activities for companies in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors. John received a BSc in Finance from Pennsylvania State University, and currently holds Series 63 and 82 licenses.

Andida Bouma
Andida is responsible for AlpInvest Partners’ investment accounting, financial accounting, and cash management. She joined AlpInvest Partners in 2000 as a member of its former Direct Investments team. Previously, Andida was with AlpInvest’s predecessor, Parnib and before she worked at both Credit Lyonnais and Chase Manhattan in corporate finance and private equity. Andida received an MA in Dutch Language and Literature from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is a certified management accountant (CMA).

Aquila Chu
Aquila is a Principal in the Secondary Investment team, where he is responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring equity transactions in Asia. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2016 from Bain Capital Private Equity in Hong Kong, focusing on the China and Australia markets. Prior to joining Bain Capital in 2010, he spent 4 years at The Monitor Group, working for clients in engagements across the Asia-Pacific region. Aquila graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a double major in Global Business and Finance. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Joeri de Groot
Joeri is a Principal in AlpInvest Partners’ Co-Investment team and focuses on equity transactions in Europe. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2012 from McKinsey & Company, where he was an Engagement Manager, working in both the corporate finance and the strategy consulting practice mainly focused on utilities and oil and gas (service) companies. Joeri received an MSc in Applied Physics from the Eindhoven Technical University and an MBA from INSEAD. Furthermore he studied Econometrics at the Free University of Amsterdam.

Patrick de van der Schueren
Patrick is AlpInvest Partners’ Chief Legal Officer for Europe and Asia. He joined the firm in 2002 from law firm Steins Bisschop Meijburg & Co., where he was a corporate partner responsible for a transactional legal team. Previously, Patrick was a senior transaction lawyer with Loyens & Loeff. During this time, he served for three years as Off Counsel with Ali Budiardjo Nugroho Reksodiputro, Jakarta. Patrick received a BA in modern history, a LL.M. in Dutch private law from the University of Utrecht and a LL.M. in European and International Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam. Patrick is a member of the Netherlands Association of Company Lawyers and the Amsterdam Bar Association.

Piet-Hein den Blanken
Piet-Hein is a Principal in the Primary Fund Investments team where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing fund opportunities in the EMEA region. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2008. Piet-Hein received an MSc, cum laude, in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Marleen Dijkstra
Marleen is a Principal in the Primary Fund Investments team where she is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing fund opportunities in Europe. She joined AlpInvest Partners in 2009. Marleen received an MSc, cum laude, in Financial Economics and a LLM in Financial Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Cameron Fairall
Cameron is AlpInvest’s Chief Compliance Officer and based in the New York office. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2011 from Ropes & Gray, where he was a lawyer focusing on M&A and investment management, including private equity fund formation. Cameron received a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.

Jeffrey Gruccio
Jeffrey is a Principal in the Primary Fund Investments team focusing on U.S. transactions. Prior to joining AlpInvest Partners, Jeff was an Investment Vice President with Prudential Financial, where he was responsible for sourcing and leading new fund commitments and direct co-investments on behalf of the insurance company in both the U.S. and Europe, and was a member of the Alternative Assets Group Investment Committee. Previously, he was with Portfolio Advisors, LLC, a private equity advisor and fund-of-funds manager, and held roles in the U.S. and Europe. Jeff received a B.S. in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.

Suhit Gupta
Suhit Gupta is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Solutions division at The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Carlyle, Suhit was Chief Technology Officer at Maverick Capital, Ltd., and previous roles include being Technology Manager at Bridgewater Associates and Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation. Suhit holds a Ph.D., M.Phil. and M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Adelphi University.

Garrett Hall
Garrett is a Principal in the Secondary Investment team focusing on US transactions. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2012. Prior to completing his MBA, Garrett worked on the AlpInvest Secondary Investment Team in New York. Garrett received an MBA from Harvard Business School with Distinction and a B.S.B.A from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Carolina Scholar.

Noah Keys
Noah is a Principal at AlpInvest Partners. He is involved in the firm’s energy, infrastructure and natural resources investment activities. Prior to joining AlpInvest in 2015, Noah was an Executive Director in UBS Investment Bank’s Global Energy Group. In this capacity, he was responsible for M&A and capital markets activities for companies in the oil & gas sector. Previously, Noah was in the Natural Resources Group in the Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers and Barclays. Noah received a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Broes Langelaar
Broes is a Principal in AlpInvest Partners’ Co-Investment team, where he is responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring equity transactions in Europe. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2005 in the Portfolio & Risk Analysis team and moved to Co-Investments in 2008. Broes received a Master of Civil Engineering from Delft University in 2003, and an MBA from Erasmus University.

Marc Rademakers
Marc is AlpInvest Partners’ Tax Counsel and responsible for advising the firm’s deal teams on all tax related issues. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2004 from Ernst & Young, where he was a senior manager on the international tax M&A team. Previously, he was an assistant manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Marc received an LL.M. in Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam.

Alexander Sprengers
Alexander is a Principal in the Investment Solutions team focusing on our European clients and prospects. Prior to joining AlpInvest Partners in 2011, he spent six years at The Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO in Amsterdam and Hong Kong within the investment banking team focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions advisory. Alexander received a MSc in Informatics & Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Maarten van Rossum
Maarten is a Principal in the Portfolio and Risk Analysis team and responsible for portfolio analysis, research and allocation, risk assessment, and investor services. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2000. Prior to his current role, he was an associate in the Funds team. Previously he was a financial analyst at NIB Capital Bank. Maarten received an MA in International Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam. He also holds an RBA (Registered Investment Analyst) from the Association of Financial Professionals (VBA) in the Netherlands.

Evert Vink
Evert is AlpInvest Partners’ Chief Legal Officer for the Americas. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2005 from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Previously, he was with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and also served as a supervisory director of Rodamco Asia. Evert is admitted to the bars of New York and Amsterdam, and received an LL.M. from the New York University School of Law and the University of Amsterdam.

Wiebe Visser
Wiebe is a Principal in the Secondary Investment team focusing on European transactions. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2010 from J.P. Morgan in London, where he was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division focusing on advising clients on their mergers and acquisitions. He holds a master degree in Food Science & Technology from Wageningen University.
